ISO 14001

Each HGST site (including Research, Development and Manufacturing) is certified to the internationally recognized environmental standard ISO14001. In compliance with ISO14001, HGST voluntarily controls the use of chemicals having an impact on the environment, including chemicals categorized as prohibited substances, substances to be reduced, or controlled substances. HGST additionally seeks to work with ISO-certified suppliers committed to environmental preservation, continual environmental improvement and support of chemical reduction priorities.
