HGST to Demo In-Memory Flash Fabric and Lead Discussions on Flash Technologies at Flash Memory Summit
SAN JOSE, Calif., August 10, 2015 – HGST, a Western Digital company (NASDAQ: WDC), today announced that at the 2015 Flash Memory Summit (@flashmem) the company will demonstrate a new Phase Change Memory-based Flash fabric solution at the HGST booth (#645-647). The solution is notable as it will deliver DRAM-like performance for in-memory processing. Additionally, HGST will have three speakers on hand to lead discussions amongst peers on the many benefits and changes pertaining to the use of Flash within the data center.
