Travelstar 12GN Jumper settings |
Models: DARA-206000, 209000, and 212000 |
Drive address setting |
|
A jumper is
available at the interface connector to determine the drive address.
Note:
When cable selection is used (Jumper Pos 3 selected), the
drive address depends on the condition of pin 28 of the AT interface
cable. In the case when pin 28 is ground or low, the drive is a
master. If pin 28 is open or high level, the drive is a slave. |

| 1Logical
layout describes imaginary drive parameters which are used to access
customer data. Logical layout to physical layout (i.e. actual head,
sector) translation is done automatically. Default logical layout
variables may be obtained by issuing an "Identify"
command. |
