Jumper settings

Models: DNES-318350 and DNES-309170

Option jumper block

50/68 pin models have two jumper blocks, J-4 and J-6, on the card. 80 pin models have just one, J-4, on the card.

J-4 has 12 positions (#1 - #12). Some of the jumper pins on J-4 can be controlled also through Auxiliary Connector on 68 pin models described below. Either the Option Jumper Block or the Auxiliary Connector may be used but not both.

Some of the jumper pins on J-4 can be controlled also through 80 pin SCA-2 connector. Either the Option Jumper Block or the SCA-2 connector may be used but not both.

J-6 has 7 positions (#A - #G) and controls Terminator Power Supply.

Shipping defaults

  • 50 pin SE model - #G, 2, 3, 5 and 6.
  • 68 pin SE model - #G, 2, 3, 5 and 6.
  • 68 pin LVD/SE Multi-mode model - #G, 2, 3, and 5.
  • 80 pin LVD/SE Multi-mode model - No jumper is set as shipping default.

Auxiliary connector (68-pin models)

The 68 pin models contain an Auxiliary Connector between power connector and 68 pin SCSI connector in addition to Option Jumper Block.
