Craig Haught joined Hitachi GST with some two decades of IT and CIO experience working for a range of Fortune 1000 high-tech companies. Most recently, he was vice president and CIO at Cymer, Inc., a San Diego-based semiconductor equipment manufacturer. He also served as CIO, Information Services and Technology at Terastor Corporation, a San Jose-based data storage technology company.

Mr. Haught has also led the IT direction and infrastructure development for large-scale global companies like Applied Materials and Sun Microsystems. At Applied, he served eight years as the company's managing director, Global Information Solutions and Technology, where he managed more than 900 direct and indirect reports. At Sun, Craig was senior director, IT Business and Resource Planning, leading a team of 700-plus.

Mr. Haught earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Quantitative Analysis and his MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Cincinnati.
